Transport and stuffing of an industrial pulley from Gilly-sur-Isère to our warehouse for storage

We recently carried out the transport and shipment preparation of a large industrial pulley from Gilly-sur-Isère (73), France.

With dimensions of 499 x 499 x 150 cm and a weight of 9.5 tonnes, this operation required precise planning and suitable equipment for both the transport and stuffing phases.

The pulley was collected directly on site using a pulley transport truck, ensuring safe loading and full compliance with the cargo’s constraints.

It was then transported to our warehouse for a temporary storage phase before shipment preparation.

A few days later, we proceeded with stuffing onto a 20’ flat rack, implementing a technical solution adapted to guarantee the stability and safety of the cargo.

The unit was placed on 20 cm thick wooden beams, making it possible to:

• avoid any direct contact with the container floor
• facilitate the passage of lashing straps for optimal securing
• ensure better load distribution and increased stability during transport

Each step was carried out carefully by our teams, in full compliance with the technical requirements of out-of-gauge (OOG) cargo.
