Low-Bed Transport, 40 Flat Rack Container Loading and Quay Delivery at the Port of Fos-sur-Mer

The teams at ECOTRA Logistics recently completed another specialized transport and logistics operation, managing two large-scale crates destined for the Asian continent.

The operation began in Occitanie, in the Haute-Garonne department, where our teams handled the loading of two crates measuring:

• 278 cm in length
• 193 cm in width
• 311 cm in height

This handling phase was carried out with the utmost care to ensure the equipment's safety before transportation to the port.

Following collection, the crates were transported using suitable equipment to the stuffing location. They were then loaded onto a 40 Flat Rack shipping container, a solution perfectly suited for oversized and out-of-gauge cargo.

Our teams performed a reinforced lashing operation, using dedicated securing equipment to ensure the cargo remained stable and protected throughout every stage of transport.

Once the container loading was completed, the convoy was transported to the Port of Fos-sur-Mer, one of France's leading gateways for maritime export operations.

The crates were delivered to the quay within the scheduled timeframe and are now ready to be loaded aboard a vessel for shipment to the Asian continent.
