Import Operation: Haulage from Fos-sur-Mer, FLAT Unstuffing, Specialized Handling and Final Delivery in the Rhône-Alpes Region

Our teams recently managed a post-carriage operation involving three 20’ Flat containers from North America. Upon arrival, the containers were collected at the port of Fos-sur-Mer using a low-bed chassis and transferred to our warehouse for unstuffing.

This operation required technical handling adapted to the exceptional dimensions of the cargo — one piece weighed 17.60 tons and measured 3.62 meters in height. After unstuffing, the items were reloaded using slings onto an extra-low trailer.

The operation continued with final delivery to the Rhône-Alpes region, including precise blocking, securing, and custom strapping to ensure the integrity of the goods throughout transport.

Thanks to our expertise, Ecotra Logistics supports its clients in the success of their projects — from unstuffing to OOG (Out of Gauge) stuffing operations.
