From Germany to Greece: a Technical Operation Orchestrated by ECOTRA LOGISTICS

We organized a multi-stage industrial transport operation involving two heavy packages to be transported from Germany.

The operation began with the loading in Germany of two packages with significant dimensions and weight:

1 package measuring 615 x 220 x 250 cm — 25.560 t
1 package measuring 600 x 172 x 230 cm — 18.280 t

Once loaded, the goods were transported to France for a stop at our warehouse in Fos-sur-Mer. This step made it possible to carry out a full inspection before continuing the transport, particularly regarding the securing, lashing and protection of the packages.

For pieces of this size, this quay-side stop is essential to ensure that everything is compliant before resuming the international journey. After this inspection and the necessary adjustments, the packages continued their route to their final delivery destination in Greece.

In total, nearly 44 tonnes were coordinated, with one clear objective: to guarantee a smooth, secure and fully controlled transport operation throughout the entire route.

The equipment had to be handled with great care, using lifting operations exclusively with a spreader beam, while taking into account the centre of gravity and the stability of the packages during handling.

From the initial loading to the final destination, every detail matters: dimensions, weight, transit points, suitable equipment, organization of resources and operational monitoring.
